All Thompson Center ENCORE & PRO Hunter barrels frames & stock are interchangeable. When you change out to a new barrel a new forend may be required to match the contours of the new barrel (e.g switching from a centerfire barrel to a muzzleloader barrel the muzzleloader barrel has a cutout to allow the ramrod to fit. This forend is made of rugged composite material with Flextech Technology.
